Our baby’s delivery

I understand this post might rise some eyebrows since some of the images are considered maybe a little too  unexpected but for me and my family this is a beautiful, beautiful story. Last week we have been beyond blessed with a new  addition to our already wonderful family :). We have a daughter, and after two beautiful and wonderful boys I can say our family has changed, everything revolves around Harper Elizabeth and we could not be more in love with her.  Harper has been born last Friday, just the day before Valentine’s day and she is surrounded by a lot of wonderful people that love her. My husband is the most excited, his daddy heart is complete!  He always wanted to have a daughter and every time I look at him and Harper my heart is smiling. What a huge blessing has our family got!!

The Lord worked so wonderful in my life that I have been blessed to have my third baby with Dr. Kreil from West Village Obgyn in Dearborn. He also delivered Erik and William together with Dr. Rochefort. The entire experience from when I got to the office until I delivered was beyond wonderful. He is the most kind doctor I have met with a heart of gold. That morning I got ready for the surgery, did my hair, make-up (which by the way did not lasted since i got a fancy cap to cover all my work), even finished my nails.   I never felt so at ease and relaxed going into the delivery/surgery room knowing that DR. Kreil was there and I was in really good hands. He treated me like I was his daughter….  It might be the hormones but I am tearing up every time I am thinking how taken care of I was by him and all the staff around.

As soon as Harper was delivered she cried for two hours uninterrupted and me and Gabe were looking at each other helpless and thinking…what did we got ourselves into!?!? Thankfully after a bath and a good feeding she calmed down and she has been the calmest baby we had until now. Let’s pray it lasts!  🙂

A huge thank you to Dr. Rochefort for arranging to have the super talented nurse Linda Powell to stick around after her shift just to take photos that morning. What a wonderful job she did!!! Thank you soo soo much Linda, I will cherish those images for the rest of my life and Harper will too. Your images really does tell the story of that day!
