Oh, what a wonderful time i had at this Engagement party. The decor was absolutely stunning and everything came together beautiful. The music was nice, the atmosphere was relaxing and full of laughter while Ligia and Dave shared with us their story , their brothers and sisters had a few nice words for the couple, and also the parents.
Ligia and Dave are just made for each other! She is absolutely a gorgeous girl inside and out. You can only admire her patience and her dedication in everything she does and for the Lord. She is a Sunday school teacher, very involved in youth ministries in out church, she volunteers at the camp every year, she is also almost done with her college. Not sure if she can cook yet but she bakes divine (personal experience) ! Wow my brother in law is a lucky guy!!! …and Dave…he is just adorable to watch being beyond in love with this girl.
They had their party on 11.11.2011 which is Veteran’s Day. You see, i met Dave 6 years ago when he came back from the Army. He is a Sargent and did many tours in Iraq and S. Korea and that build in him such a great character. He will make a great family man and i am so happy that he found this absolutely amazing girl to spend his entire life with.
I wish i could add all the images so you feel like you were there, but i will only have to add a few! I do have the color version also but i just love the way Black & White looks like!!
I know this spring is going to be beautiful and full of amazing couples getting engaged. What can be more beautiful in your young years then meeting that special person to share your entire life with. You are going to be really busy getting all the details (decorations, food,music, invitations, etc ) done and the last thing you want is to worry about photography. I will be extremely happy to be part of your event and create some beautiful memories for you. After all you put all that effort into everything and you want to remember everything for a long long time and also to share something beautiful with friends that could not make it to your party. I have met Anca two weeks ago when she came in for a mini session with her family. She wanted for a long time to have her family portraits done by me and i was so honored and blessed to create amazing memories for her family and with her beautiful personality we clicked from the start. The daddy, Dorin, was really helpful during the session which made it go faster, so thank you dad you were a huge help! The kids are full of personality and the pictures shows it!

It is said that the best things come in small packages. Tanya and Roger choose to have a small family wedding. Yes i know, just over a hundred guests at your wedding does not not sound small but for a Romanian wedding it is considered strict family only wedding because an average wedding is more then 300 guests. It was a really relaxed and beautiful day with a lot of wonderful people! We went to Ann Arbor for the portraits for about 40 minutes then we choose to be on time at the reception so we scheduled to meet 2 days after for more. As i promised to all of you i am trying my best to keep up with the posting, despite being so behind with posting with all the sessions i had lately.
This is a very special family for us, they have been friends of my husband before i met him, i think actually since he was little. I met Elena before our wedding and she is such an amazing woman, with an amazing story. She found she had cancer a few weeks ago and we decided to take a few pictures with her family, nothing formal,but capturing them and heir love for each other. It was really cold outside so we could not be there for more then a few minutes, but we manage to get a few darling images. This amazing mommy with an amazing heart is full of life, beautiful smile, soft voice, and a looot of love that she shares with everybody around her! In fact i arrived early for our photo-shoot, and she was not home, but at the hospital because she heard her friend just delivered and she had to go and visit and bring some food for the new mommy. I am always impressed with how well behaved the children are, and she is homeschooling all of them, growing a garden, cooking all those amazing meals, and always with a baby in her arms. We are praying for you and God be on your side Elena!
A professional photographer and breast cancer survivor Lidia is an amazing person. Kind, talented and with a huge heart she is also the founder of Tiny Sparrow Foundation , an amazing non profit organization that provides lasting memories through the beautiful art of photography to the families with children who are facing life threatening illnesses.
Tonight i was surfing the web and her actions caught my interest. I downloaded the free collection and i gave it a try to one of my beauty portraits. It is photographed with natural light.
Family! This is such a beautiful word, and Balmus family really impressed me. Mrs. and Mr. Balmus have eight children: beautiful, well raised and full of life. We had our session last month at Stoney Creek Park and as most of you know photographing a large family takes time and quite some energy, but this was not the case. The children were so happy, well behaved and full of life that we finished everything in about 2 hours. I think i might have lost a pound or two, but the outcome was soo worth it!! What mother can not be so proud of her children ? I can not wait to see the portraits on their walls.
Two days before our session Jennifer called me for a late fall family session. We had to act fast because the weather got cold fast, and we had three little beauties to work with outdoors. The kids did a fantastic job behaving and being so nice. We had a loot of fun. Too sad the Daddy could not make it being out of state, but we will be waiting for you next time Daddy! What a beautiful family!
