When my sister in law Kathy called to ask me if i would like to help her throw Ligi a bridal shower i felt honored. I mean if you guys know Ligia, she is one of the most beautiful girl there is and to top it off , sweeter then honey and so much fun to be around her. Her laugh is contagious and she has quite the energy. You see, she is marring my brother in law so how can i not be proud for having her in our family and maybe some day have a few play dates, cooking together, girls day out, etc. Kathy and I worked really hard on pulling some ideas together and i think the party looked beautiful but not as fabulous as Ligia. 
Huge thank you to sora Felicia and sora Liliana for the very tasty food. Also in our help came Nelly Vatamaciuc and she did an amazing job on the flower arrangements and Kathy who made a custom cake for us.
Now if you left the party early i have to tell you that you missed so great fun. At the end we pulled out some cute props and the ladies did enjoy laughing and getting some goofy pictures done.

Wednesday, March 21st, 2012Joshua is such a little cutie and he is quite high maintenance. His mommy and daddy do not agree, they still stand for him being the best behaved baby there is, but i know i am right and this is why: A few weeks ago his grandmother called me for a photo session at their house, she wanted to record all those beautiful moments of her first grandchild and she would not miss this for the world. Such proud grandparents!! I arrived at 12:00 sharp so we can start shooting about 12:30 but Joshua, who suppose to have a power nap took his sweet time and did not woke up until 4 pm. If you know me…you know that i better come another day then wake up a baby…so i stayed and chatted and had drinks and luch and almost dinner with his grandmother until the little price finally could not sleep any more. ) We finished our session 45 minutes later and we got amazing images. Here is the little prince.

Wednesday, March 21st, 2012I have had the pleasure to meet Larisa Moroshan owner of Desert Rose Couture last year when she donated some beautiful headbands for our Facebook Party that took place in my studio. I immediately felt in love with the great quality of the products , how beautiful they look and also Larisa’s personality (the best costumer support ever!!!). This winter i was looking for a cool project for myself and when we talked i realized this was the perfect oportunity to push some creative edges and do something different. She was looking for a very 1960′s Vintage Glam look to her images and we got just that! We carefully talked to the models (better said their super sweet moms) and helped them choose the right outfits. Ladies thank you so much for all the shopping and efforts you put into this! Also we looked for 2 models for the “Mommy & Me” Collection. I needed somebody with strong features that you
will not forget easy, somebody with no modeling experience, a little shy and actual mother-daughter and Persida with her princess were a perfect fit!
Now i was also looking for a good hair stylist that knows hair better then herself, can do her job really fast and i can trust she will give me what i need. Simona Vigh is just amazing. The way she made my models feel beautiful, the attention to details, the speed she worked at…i mean i was impressed. We had about 14 models and each one of them har atleast 2 hair styles, and “Mommy and Me” models got over 5 different hair styles each! ALL This in less then 5 hours! If you guys need her for a wedding, bride, wedding party or any other occasion you will not regret hiring her! So call me for her contact as soon as you know you are getting married (734.629.6490)

What to Wear for your Family Spring Portraits
Monday, March 19th, 2012I am so excited for the spring being here, i mean who isn’t?? I have to confess, every winter i need to keep really busy so it can go by faster, otherwise i would be depressed non stop being in the house and having the boys in the house every day. Now i get to take them out for a walk atleast once a day, and before they go to bed i take them again so they can play and run with the ball (they think i am such a cool mom, but the truth is that they take a while to go to sleep so i take them to burn the energy ..so let this be our secret ).
Every time when you book a session the first question is: What should i wear? And sure you want to look pretty and your family well put together, i mean you are going to have to show your family to your friends and grandchildren down the line. Tonight i went shopping to www.gap.com for you and their new arrivals are simply gorgeous so i put a few outfits together and it can be used for a larger family also and even for a small one:).
